Manchester City Surveyors Plans 1900-1910 photocopy held at GMP Museum & Archive: Old Police Buildings.
An interesting mistake on the Bartholomew 1900 above right and repeated on the Marr 1904 map which depicts Lowe Street Police and Fire Station on Albion St. Clearly this is wrong as Police Stations take their name form the street they front. Lowe Street is the next street south and the 1906 picture above matches the 1891 OS map.

The area Bartholomew shades in red is actually the site of St Luke's Church  as correctly marked on the 1891 OS 1:2500 and in the central photograph looking up Albion St in 1963 [M/cr Lib record it as Alburn St]. All trace of the streets were removed in clearances of the 1970/80s.
